Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate has announced that it has realigned the DACH organization with new General Manager, Herbert Hahnenkamp, and his team.

According to the packaging firm, the objectives of Herbert Hahnenkamp as new General Manager for DACH area of Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate, are “as ambitious as well-calculated”.

Herbert was appointed in January for the DACH (German, Austria and Switzerland) region and has had a long-standing career in the industry. Most recently, he worked as a Management Consultant, and before that, for many years, as Managing Director for the German location of the Japanese Ishida Group – a specialist in weighing and packaging technology.

Simone Seitz, who will be in charge of sales and operations in the future, is also new to the Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate management team. In her operating activities during 20 years in sales and marketing at Ishida, she was responsible for the achievement of ambitious business growth.

Commenting on this new role, Herbert Hahnenkamp, said: “We will devote ourselves intensively to customers’ needs and benefits, create and implement detailed offers and solutions with our partners. Together with our colleagues from Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate in Italy and around the world, we will be even more efficient and closer to the market in the future.”
