Amichai Bar-Nir, CEO of TopGum Industries, has announced his departure from the company, marking the end of a nearly five-year period during which he led the business through a significant transformation. Reflecting on his tenure, Bar-Nir expressed both pride and gratitude for the remarkable changes TopGum underwent under his leadership.

“It has been an incredible experience to have the privilege of leading the company through major changes,” Bar-Nir said in a recent statement. During his time as CEO, TopGum transitioned from a confectionery business to a global leader in the dietary supplements field. The company also grew from a privately owned entity to a publicly traded company, establishing partnerships with some of the most prestigious brands worldwide.

Bar-Nir took the opportunity to thank those who played crucial roles in the company’s success, starting with TopGum’s founders, Hai Hayon and Roi Lusternik. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks…for believing in me and welcoming me into the TopGum family. Your trust has made all the difference,” he stated.

He also highlighted the support of the company’s board members, singling out Chairman Hagai Stadler for his “unwavering support, friendship, and mentorship throughout this remarkable journey.” Additionally, Bar-Nir praised TopGum’s management team, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in building the company. “Your resilience and commitment have been instrumental in our success,” he said, commending the entire team for their collaborative spirit.

Bar-Nir expressed his appreciation to the broader TopGum workforce, including employees in Israel and the USA, noting that their “passion and determination” were key to the company’s achievements. He also recognized the company’s global business partners, though he refrained from naming them individually, emphasizing that their “trust, friendship, and invaluable contributions” were critical to TopGum’s growth.

As Bar-Nir steps aside, he expressed excitement about TopGum’s future under the leadership of the newly appointed CEO, Eyal Shohat. “With his leadership and the incredible team we have in place, I am confident he will continue to drive TopGum toward even greater accomplishments,” Bar-Nir said.

Despite leaving his role, Bar-Nir described his departure with “sadness and pride,” emphasizing that TopGum’s journey is just beginning. He concluded his message by encouraging continued connections with his colleagues and wishing the company ongoing success and growth.
