Jealous Sweets has launched a new range of plant-based sour beans, available in two formats in 125g sharing bags.
Berry Sours and Zingy Sours have been described to “push the boundaries of flavour intensity” and deliver gluten-free and plant-based credentials approved by the Vegetarian Society as vegan.
Zingy Sours are available in flavours of orange, apple and lemon in one bag. Berry Sours comes in cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant flavours.
Both products are 100% plant-based, gluten-free, gelatine-free and are made with real fruit juices.
Imran Merza, Co-Founder and Chief Candy Magician, said: “With sour beans we want to shake up people’s expectations about what sweets can deliver in terms of flavour. Our sours give the traditional mouth-watering acidity, but we have upped flavour concentration to really enhance the eating experience.
