Khoury’s the London-based artisan chocolate brand behind the viral Beirut bar, is set to launch at Harrods on 15 July.   The brand will be housed in a standout red post box fixture in the Chocolate Hall — exactly one year after Phil Khoury founded the company.

The Khoury’s launch at Harrods marks a full circle for founder Philip Khoury, who spent six years at the iconic store, leaving as Head Pastry Chef in 2025. He returns to Harrods as a craft chocolate maker!

A love letter that became a company: Khoury’s began with a bake sale. Phil was asked to contribute to a charity fundraiser for young people affected by the conflict in Lebanon. Phil composed a love letter to Beirut in the form of a chocolate bar.  The ingredients were orange blossom caramel and cashew baklava crunch — it was named the Beirut bar. It went viral across the Middle East, racking up millions of views and a wave of imitators.  In July 2025, Phil founded Khoury’s.

The Khoury’s bars have already achieved cult status and repeatedly sell out within minutes of their release.

The Harrods edit consists of six bars from the Khoury’s city series. Each one a multilayered love letter, containing an ingredient that references the essence of each city:

·     Beirut — orange blossom caramel, cashew baklava crunch

·     London — Earl Grey and biscuits

·     New York — apple pie

·     Paris – crunchy hazelnut praline and caramel

·     Doha — cardamom coffee and dates

·     Oaxaca — corn, cinnamon, cacao

The bars are priced at £15 each.

Alongside the bars will sit Khoury’s coated nuts, an innovation that is a world first. Each nut is roasted, caramelised, and covered in a chocolate coating that is made from the nut itself — almond in almond chocolate, hazelnut in hazelnut chocolate, pistachio in pistachio chocolate. Just four natural ingredients:

·     Nuts Upon Nuts Trio – £29

·     Almond Upon Almonds – £26

·     Pistachio Upon Pistachios – £32

·     Hazelnut Upon Hazelnuts – £29

Lucy Arundale, Senior Buyer – Harrods Foodhalls remarks: “We are delighted to welcome Phil back to Harrods with the launch of his exciting new chocolate venture. Showcasing Khoury’s collection of bars inspired by iconic flavour pairings from around the world alongside an innovative dragée range. This launch reflects the creativity, craftsmanship and category-leading innovation that our customers are continually seeking. The timing of this pop-up is particularly meaningful, arriving exactly one year after Phil’s departure from Harrods. We look forward to supporting talent and seeing this come to life in the Chocolate Hall.”

Philip Khoury comments: “Harrods was home for so long. I always secretly hoped I’d find my way back one day — maybe even see my chocolate bars on these hallowed shelves. It was just a dream and now becomes a reality.

“I am so very proud of our nut range, the almond is coated in chocolate made from almonds. The pistachio, in chocolate made from pistachios. A clean and simple idea and 4 natural ingredients transformed through artisan craft.”

Khoury’s is available at Harrods Chocolate Hall and Harrods.com from 15 July 2026.
