Love Cocoa, the luxury sustainable chocolate business founded by Cadbury descendant, James Cadbury, has introduced a duo of new bars to its line-up: a buttery 35% Blonde Chocolate Bar alongside a sumptuous 85% Dark Chocolate Bar. Launched in response to consumer demand, the contemporary bars are designed to appeal to those looking for a more indulgent, grown-up chocolate experience.

Made in the UK, the new bars use sustainably sourced single origin Colombian cocoa and feature the brand’s signature luxe-look and plastic free packaging.

The B Corp certified brand was founded on three principles: People – Planet – Passion. Led by modern chocolatier, James Cadbury, Love Cocoa is focused on driving positive change within the chocolate industry. Crafting with pride and care, the brand uses only the finest quality cacao that’s ethically sourced from growers who farm fairly and pay their workers properly.

Love Cocoa founder, James Cadbury, says: “We’ve been working on these 35% Blonde and 85% Dark Chocolate Bars for the past 12 months, and we can’t wait to see how they’re received. Blonde chocolate is a trend that we expect to grow even more, with the deep caramelised flavour making it feel like an indulgent treat, while we’re finding consumers are increasingly opting for dark chocolate, reflecting perhaps how it’s considered the ‘healthiest’ chocolate, with fewer ingredients alongside its higher antioxidant content. Spanning both ends of the chocolate spectrum, we believe these bars will be a real hit.”

The bars can be purchased at lovecocoa.com from now:

35% Blonde Chocolate Bar – £5/75g

Signalling Love Cocoa’s first foray into the world of blonde chocolate, this is a velvety smooth blonde chocolate bar made from creamy caramelised white chocolate. Rich, buttery and completely irresistible.

85% Dark Chocolate Bar – £5/75g

Love Cocoa’s darkest bar yet. Delivering an indulgently rich, intense flavour that’s designed to be savoured. Velvety smooth with a natural sweetness and vegan-friendly too, this is proper grown-up chocolate.

As part of its ecological commitments, Love Cocoa partners with Eden Reforestation Projects via 1% for the Planet, with the aim of planting over 200,000 trees each and every year. To date, the brand has planted 1.8 million trees across North and East Africa in a bid to combat deforestation and climate change.
