Carugil will present a new generation of forming and wrapping technologies at interpack 2026, highlighting its move towards fully integrated, high-performance solutions for lollipops, gums and chewy confectionery.
Carugil, a global reference in machinery for lollipops, gums and chewy confectionery, is set to make a strong statement at Interpack 2026, presenting a range of innovations that reinforce its position as a leading technology partner for the confectionery industry.
With over 40 years of experience and a clear commitment to continuous research and development, the company has built a solid reputation for delivering high-performance, reliable and flexible solutions. Lollipops, gums and chews remain at the core of Carugil’s business, complemented by advanced wrapping technologies including flowpack and 4-side seal multilane systems for products such as licorice.
At this year’s exhibition, Carugil will unveil significant developments in both forming and wrapping technologies, highlighting its evolution towards a fully integrated solutions provider.
A key innovation on display will be the new CFC-2000 lollipop chain forming machine, designed to expand production capabilities beyond traditional ball-shaped lollipops into complex 3D formats. This new model represents a major step forward in versatility, allowing manufacturers to diversify their product portfolio without compromising efficiency. Engineered with Carugil’s extensive know-how in lollipop production, the CFC-2000 is designed to produce hard-boiled lollipops, either solid or with high filling percentages. It offers fast format changeover, robust construction and high output of up to 2,000 pieces per minute.
Alongside this launch, Carugil will also exhibit its well-established CTC-2000 forming machine for standard ball-shaped lollipops, capable of reaching production rates of up to 2,000 pieces per minute, combining proven reliability with outstanding forming precision.
However, Carugil’s value proposition for lollipops extends far beyond forming. The company stands out as the only manufacturer worldwide capable of offering a comprehensive range of wrapping solutions, covering virtually all existing formats, including bunch wrapping, flowpack, stickpack and 4-side seal systems.
In this area, Interpack 2026 will also feature an important upgrade of the renowned CWLB lollipop bunch wrapper. The latest version incorporates improvements in the wrapping head design, making adjustment and maintenance easier and more efficient, as well as enhancements in the heating system to ensure consistent sealing quality. These upgrades further consolidate the CWLB as a benchmark solution for lollipop wrapping.
Carugil will showcase the CWLB-600, equipped with a label-on-stick applicator, which can also be combined with sticker and tattoo applicators. In addition, the machine can be integrated with synchronized automatic jar and container filling systems, offering a complete downstream solution.
For gum and chewy confectionery applications, Carugil will showcase an upgraded version of the CBF-8000 double ball former, designed to operate simultaneously with two product ropes. This innovative system has been developed to achieve high production rates—up to 80 cycles per minute—while ensuring gentle handling of products, including those with semi-liquid or powder-filled centres.
A newly designed cutting system prevents leakage and ensures product integrity, while the fully customizable forming cycle allows manufacturers to adapt the process to different recipes and formats. Furthermore, the CBF-8000 incorporates newly developed forming rollers with enhanced resistance to corrosion, reduced stickiness and improved wear resistance. These advanced materials not only extend component lifespan but also enable the production of more complex shapes and the processing of challenging masses such as marzipan and high-protein formulations.
Through these innovations, Carugil continues to demonstrate its commitment to delivering efficient, reliable and forward-looking solutions tailored to the evolving needs of confectionery manufacturers worldwide.
