Advanced process solutions for consistent product quality, high efficiency, safe and hygienic operation, and reduced environmental impact.
Food Masters Freiberg GmbH is a German manufacturer of industrial process solutions for the thermal treatment and handling of food ingredients such as cocoa, nut & oilseeds, and grain & malt. The portfolio ranges from individual machines to complete process lines including cleaning, thermal pretreatment, winnowing, alkalising, roasting, sterilising, pasteurising, powder treatment, and handling systems. The focus lies on tailor-made engineering solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing production environments and ensure reliable large-scale operation.
With decades of experience in process technology, Foodmasters systems are used worldwide by leading food manufacturers. The company acts as a long-term partner, supporting customers from initial process design and engineering through manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and continuous service and process optimization. The goal is consistent product quality, high process efficiency, and reliable operation under demanding industrial conditions.
At interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, Foodmasters will present innovations highlighting its commitment to sustainable processing technology. One key development is a new generation batch nibs roaster operating without fossil fuels. The system can be integrated into a Waste-to-Power concept, utilising energy generated within the process itself. Despite this shift in energy supply, it delivers fully reproducible roasting results similar to conventional systems, allowing manufacturers to maintain established flavour profiles while significantly reducing their carbon footprint. In addition, a redesigned roasting door ensures a fully sealed system and improved hygienic conditions.
Foodmasters will also introduce a novel, sustainable cocoa bean pretreatment technology that optimises nib and shell separation prior to winnowing. The process operates entirely without fossil fuels, improving separation efficiency while preserving bean quality.
