Lily O’Brien’s, luxury chocolatiers, have announced their Christmas Desserts Collection for 2023. The new collection was made available in major retailers like Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, and Asda from early October, priced at £12 with £9 promotions in select stores. The 24-piece collection features nine flavours, combining classics with four new limited editions like Spiced Latte, Dark Orange, Triple Chocolate Shot, and Berry Eton Mess.

The 24-piece collection features nine different flavours, including classic favourites from Lily O’Brien’s signature Desserts Collection, plus four new limited-edition flavours for the season:

  • Spiced Latte blends double roasted arabica coffee beans with warming spices and indulgent white chocolate.
  • Dark Orange encases a zesty splash of orange inside gooey ganache, finished with flourishes of orange pieces.
  • Triple Chocolate Shot filled with rich dark chocolate ganache topped with creamy caramel and a sprinkle of white chocolate flakes.
  • Berry Eton Mess is blended with crisp meringue pieces and white chocolate in a milk chocolate shell.

Marketing Director Karen Crawford emphasises the collection’s success in driving brand growth, becoming the third best-selling in-laid box and a key festive season gift. Crawford highlights the collection’s value, offering an expensive look, feel, and luxurious taste without a premium price tag.

The new SKU, contributing £2M to the in-laid boxed category, is part of Lily O’Brien’s £15M brand. Supported by a £1M ‘For the ones you really know’ brand marketing campaign, it spans various consumer touchpoints, including shopper marketing, media, PR, and digital.

Building on the success of the 2022 Truffles launch, adding close to £1M in casual gifting, Lily O’Brien’s plans to expand distribution and unveil the Christmas Desserts Collection, continuing its seasonal triumph.
