Fudge Kitchen has reached a significant milestone in its journey. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023 and transitioning to an employee-owned model, the company is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Parson as its new Managing Director.

Following the remarkable leadership of Linsey Priestley, who served as Managing Director since August of the previous year, the company embarked on a quest to find a successor capable of upholding its tradition of excellence. Richard Parson emerged as the ideal candidate, showcasing strategic vision and operational acumen poised to propel Fudge Kitchen into the future.

Richard Parson joined the company in January 2020 as Marketing & Communications Manager and played a crucial role in navigating through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic while spearheading sustainability initiatives. Following the illness of founder Siân Holt, Parson assumed the role of Marketing & Brand Director, steadfastly advocating for the company’s ethos and vision.

Now, as Managing Director, Richard Parson is dedicated to honouring the legacies of both Linsey Priestley and Siân Holt while leading Fudge Kitchen into its next chapter.

Entering its second year as an employee-owned enterprise, Fudge Kitchen remains committed to crafting exceptional confectionery experiences. With six stores across the UK, a thriving e-commerce platform, and a renowned artisan production kitchen, the company is poised for continued success in the coming years.
