Ingredients supplier Henley Bridge has appointed a sales director to help realise the company’s growth ambitions. The company says Adrian Dodds brings a wealth of experience to the role, including 14 years as Head of UK Sales at Lantmannen Unibake.

The expanding business has experienced exponential growth in the last two years, bucking the trend by coming out of Covid strongly, and is now looking to build on this success.

“Henley Bridge is a very well-respected business with a fantastic product offer, unrivalled service and a broad and loyal customer base,” said Dodds. “The company has major growth ambitions, with a bigger group (Kent Foods) behind it for financial muscle, but there remains the autonomy and scope to be part of taking the business forward.

“My immediate priorities in role will include capitalising on business growth opportunities, as well as developing the existing sales structure and longer-term strategy, all of which will support our continued development as a leading ingredient supplier.”

Henley Bridge grows in 2021 despite the pandemic

Tracey Hughes, Managing Director of Henley Bridge, added: “We’re very excited to welcome Adrian to our growing team and will be drawing on his expertise and vision to grow the business further.

“We’re a positive bunch, but we were delighted to beat even our own expectations on growth in 2021 in spite of the fact we lost three months of business as a result of the Covid lockdown. We also launched 1,500 new products during that period, which was ground-breaking in itself.

“As a business, we’re in very good shape. We have extremely ambitious sales targets for 2022 and we’re confident Adrian will play a key role in achieving them.”
