PROBAT has integrated MacIntyre Chocolate Systems into its corporate brand portfolio, consolidating the chocolate equipment manufacturer under the PROBAT name.
MacIntyre is known for the MacIntyre Refiner/Conche, a machine that combines mixing, refining and conching for chocolate and related food processing applications. PROBAT said the integration is part of a wider effort to align its operations and technologies under a single corporate identity.
The company said the move is intended to simplify its brand structure and provide customers with access to its products and services through one global brand across multiple food processing segments.
Joseph Gorman, managing director of MacIntyre Chocolate Systems, said the integration marks a new phase for the company. “Joining forces under the PROBAT brand marks an exciting new chapter for MacIntyre and our customers. This integration allows us to combine our extensive knowledge of chocolate processing with PROBAT’s global strength and innovation, resulting in unparalleled end-to-end solutions. Together, we are better positioned than ever to help our customers succeed in a rapidly evolving market.”
The integration follows PROBAT’s recent expansion in the cocoa, chocolate and snack sectors. Over the past two years, the company has acquired Royal Duyvis Wiener and AC Horn. PROBAT said it has since focused on transferring technology and aligning operations across its businesses to support cross-segment offerings.
According to the company, the decision to bring its corporate brands under a single name is intended to increase consistency across its global operations and support further growth in the food processing market.
“Bringing all our brands together under the PROBAT name creates a unified identity that boosts our strength in the global market. This approach allows us to leverage combined expertise, deliver comprehensive turnkey solutions across multiple segments, and offer customers a seamless experience. It is a decisive step that maximizes our reach and reinforces our position as the leading force in food processing,” said Wim Abbing, CEO of PROBAT.
PROBAT has operated for more than 155 years and supplies equipment and systems for food processing applications, including coffee, cocoa and chocolate. The company said its portfolio includes both traditional processing systems and integrated solutions.
