Simply Ice Cream are expanding their business with seven new flavours that are exclusive to the Middle Eastern market. The artisan ice cream producers are launching Date with Caramelised Walnut, Cinnamon, Honey & Figs, Mango & Cardamon, Pistachio, Turkish Delight & Rose, and Pomegranate & Mint Sorbet.
Founder, Sally Newall, flew out to the Gulfood 2023 Trade Show in Dubai this February – the world’s largest food exhibition. The business was one of many supported by the internalisation fund, through the DIT to make the trip. Simply Ice Cream are hoping to distribute throughout UAE with their range of new flavours.
The small ice cream business from Kent attended the show alongside some leading global brands, including Unilever, McCain, and Fonterra to name a few. Gulfood provides a global platform for companies in the food industry to showcase their products and services to buyers from across the world.
The 5-day event featured 5,000 exhibitors from over 125 countries and had over 100,000 international visitors. Sally Newall says “Gulfood has been a fantastic opportunity for us to display this new range and network with buyers face to face. We’re confident that our luxury ice cream will be a hit with customers, and we look forward to rolling it out throughout Dubai and beyond”.
